Job Summary
Senior Incident Response Consultant at NVISO responsible for leading incident response and digital forensics engagements across private and governmental clients. You will oversee host, network, memory forensics, and log analysis, perform timeline analysis and live response, lead containment and eradication efforts, conduct threat hunting engagements, contribute to automation projects, and communicate findings through executive-ready status reports. You will also lead customer calls, participate in tabletop exercises, and support forensic readiness initiatives, with a focus on building analytical capabilities and refining incident response processes.
Required Qualifications
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in incident response
- Experience acting as incident response case lead
- Strong knowledge of cyber intrusion analysis and digital forensics on Windows/MacOS/Unix
- Memory forensics (Volatility, MemProcFS) and disk forensics (Magnet AXIOM Cyber, X-Ways, Autopsy)
- Proficiency with live response tooling (Velociraptor, GRR Rapid Response, EDR)
- Experience with cloud telemetry (Microsoft 365/Azure, AWS, Google Cloud/Workspace)
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to lead customer calls and contribute to crisis management
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- On-call availability as described in posting
- English required; German nice to have
