Senior Inbound Material Planner

Co-lead the implementation and optimization of SAP-based material forecasting and automated order placement (MRP) across the network, translating plant-level operational realities into accurate planning parameters. Manage demand planning, order placement, and scheduling alignment for inbound materials while serving as the subject matter expert for raw material receiving and consumption. Drive proactive decision-making to maintain optimal inventory days' supply, oversee complex material categories like cullet, and optimize inbound logistics including rail/truck scheduling to minimize total landed cost. Serve as the primary bridge between corporate supply chain and plant operations, leading the onboarding of plants into standardized inbound planning processes and providing guidance on material demand and furnace operations. This hybrid role in Perrysburg, Ohio, requires proven experience in purchasing, transportation management, and glass furnace operations.
