Job Summary
Senior Implementation Specialist responsible for client implementations of AlphaDesk, gathering requirements, configuring the system, producing functional specifications and test plans, and leading a delivery team to ensure on-time go-lives. Responsibilities include building project plans, supervising delivery, coordinating resources, deploying and configuring AlphaDesk for clients, communicating project status and risks, conducting user training, translating client requirements into development tasks, ensuring quality, and contributing to test plans. Requires strong client-facing communication, understanding of buy-side workflows, and SQL proficiency. Strong emphasis on leadership, project management, and technical delivery within financial markets.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree, preferably with a major in engineering, computer science, information technology, science, or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years' experience in a technical role, preferably in financial markets or investment management
- Experience working directly with internal/external clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Intricate understanding of buy side workflows for portfolio management, trading/settlement, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting
- Solid grasp of Order and Portfolio Management Systems
- Ability to handle and prioritize numerous tasks and work independently
- Extraordinary teammate with a consultative approach to problem solving
- SQL knowledge
- Willingness to learning emerging technologies and new software
- Good time management skills, as well as an ability to work optimally under time constraints
