Job Summary
Senior Implementation Engineer focused on guiding customers through the myAltium AES deployment post-sale. Drive adoption of AES by leveraging project-management skills, deep product and domain knowledge, and strong stakeholder influence across Sales, Customer Success, and R&D. Responsibilities include training, coaching customers through the engagement process, managing implementation timelines, escalating and resolving issues, coordinating with Solution Architects and R&D to address high-impact software issues, building strong customer relationships, reducing churn, and enabling expansion and renewal. Requires a BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 5 years in a client-facing/EDA context, with experience in PCB ECAD, and willingness to travel ~30%. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization. The role reports to cross-functional teams and focuses on driving customer value and post-deployment success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree and experience
- At least 5 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a client-facing role in Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
- Experience with Altium or other PCB ECAD Library/component management required
- PLM expertise desirable
- Ability to engage customer at business level, drive alignment, and execution
- Ability to be highly effective in a matrix management organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to travel 30%
