Senior Implementation Engineer

Senior Implementation Engineer role focused on end-to-end delivery of Katana for high-value, complex accounts across multi-channel, multi-location operations. You own discovery, architecture design, integrations, data migration, configuration, and go-live, working hands-on to map real-world manufacturing and inventory workflows into Katana. You’ll build and configure integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, accounting, shipping, and EDI using native connectors, APIs, and middleware, and develop custom solutions and accelerators (including AI-assisted tooling with Claude) to raise delivery speed and quality. The role is highly customer-facing, requiring pre-sales participation, technical leadership, and collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Product. You’ll create reusable integration solutions, migration tooling, and playbooks, while mentoring other Solutions Engineers. The position emphasizes ownership, practical implementation over specs, calmness under complexity, and adapting to evolving tooling and requirements. Remote-first with travel flexibility; preference for candidates in the East Coast / EST timezone, with Toronto-area being common, and availability for an 11 AM – 7 PM EST window.
