Job Summary
Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for USCIS, DOL, NVC, and consular matters while managing a high-volume caseload across family-based, employment-based, and removal defense cases. Draft legal correspondence and client communications under attorney supervision, conduct client interviews to gather evidence, and monitor case statuses and deadlines using case management software. Mentor junior paralegals and support staff while staying current on immigration law changes and policy updates. This role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, proficiency with forms like I-589 and I-130, and strong organizational skills. Bilingual Spanish and English candidates are strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience
- Proficiency with immigration forms and filings including I-589, I-130, I-485, I-140, I-765, and DACA renewals
- Strong knowledge of family-based and/or employment-based immigration processes
- Experience with immigration case management software (e.g., INSZoom, Docketwise, or similar)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Paralegal certificate or relevant college degree
