Job Summary
Senior Identity Security Engineer to lead the technical delivery of customer identity and identity modernization projects for enterprise customers. Role emphasizes serving as the primary technical lead implementing modern identity solutions, guiding delivery resources, and supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle. Requires strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, CIAM/B2C concepts, modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA), and cloud-based identity solutions; hybrid identity and legacy Microsoft identity technologies are beneficial but not the primary focus. Client-facing consulting with leadership responsibilities; residency in Costa Rica. Responsibilities include leading delivery, translating architectural designs into actionable workstreams, serving as escalation point for complex identity/authentication issues, validating deliverables, assisting customers with identity challenges, supporting implementations involving Microsoft Entra ID, External ID / B2C, federation technologies, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance; designing/authenticating integrations; developing automation using PowerShell and Graph API; advising stakeholders; partnering with Project Managers to align milestones, risks, and execution; and leading multiple client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft identity and access management technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and cloud identity services
- Experience with customer identity / CIAM / B2C solutions
- Experience implementing federation and modern authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and MFA solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, automation, and scripting using PowerShell or similar tooling
- Experience troubleshooting authentication flows, identity integrations, and access management challenges
- Strong understanding of Conditional Access, identity security concepts, and Zero Trust principles
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
