Job Summary
Senior Identity Security Engineer to lead the technical delivery of Active Directory (AD) migration, consolidation, and identity modernization projects for enterprise customers. Serve as the primary technical lead responsible for technical execution and mentoring delivery resources. Deep expertise in Active Directory and hybrid identity environments, with strong experience in Microsoft Idexecution and Entra ID / Azure identity technologies. Lead technical delivery for AD migration and consolidation, translate architectural designs into actionable workstreams, escalate and mitigate delivery risks, validate technical deliverables, and guide automation using PowerShell. Partner with Project Managers to align timelines and risks; provide technical oversight and mentoring for junior consultants; work with enterprise stakeholders to drive identity transformation initiatives from discovery through delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with Active Directory administration, engineering, and design
- Strong experience with AD migration, consolidation, and restructuring initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), including synchronization and identity lifecycle management concepts
- Experience with hybrid identity solutions including Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect, Entra Cloud Sync, and federation technologies
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Experience with AD migration tools such as ADMT, Quest Migration Manager, ForensiT, or similar enterprise migration platforms
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and authentication protocols
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
