Senior Identity Access Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Identity Engineer to lead end-to-end identity automation across the enterprise: own identity lifecycle workflows (joiner/mover/leaver), SCIM provisioning, and SSO/MFA integrations across HRIS and downstream SaaS. Partner with IT, Security, and Compliance to improve reliability, automation, and audit readiness of the identity stack; mentor junior engineers and contribute to identity tooling standards and automation strategies. Requires 6+ years in IAM/identity engineering, hands-on with Okta Identity Engine, Entra ID, and Active Directory, expertise in SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, API-driven automation via Python/Bash/PowerShell, and experience supporting ITGC/SOX audits.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Engineering, or related infrastructure/security engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta Identity Engine, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory-integrated environments
- Deep understanding of authentication and federation protocols including SCIM, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
- Experience building API-driven automations and scripting solutions using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience implementing and supporting SSO, MFA, and lifecycle provisioning workflows at enterprise scale
- Direct experience supporting ITGC/SOX audits and identity-related compliance controls
- Strong troubleshooting, systems integration, and cross-functional collaboration skills
