Job Summary
Write functional requirement documents and technical specifications across the full SDLC for IBM InfoSphere MDM (Virtual MDM) systems. Support and enhance data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, and configuration while developing Kafka-based integrations and troubleshooting message flows. Work in Linux/Unix environments to write PowerShell and Bash scripts, optimize SQL against Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and manage Git/GitHub code with CI/CD pipelines. Partner with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders on ticket resolution, execute test plans, and monitor production environments for RFC-driven changes. Deliver monthly reporting on MDM applications and maintain system documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise-scale software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM)
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years Java/J2EE (Java, JSP, REST/SOAP services) with strong production troubleshooting
- 5+ years Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting (Bash)
- Kafka + WildFly integration experience; Zookeeper/KRaft concepts (Strimzi operator)
- SQL proficiency (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
- CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, Azure Git)
- Cloud/OCP/OpenShift/Kubernetes exposure; AWS/Azure familiarity
- ELK/Elastic Stack log monitoring across Kafka, WildFly, MDM
- Flowable development experience (strong plus)
