Senior IAM Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Job Summary
Senior IAM Consultant role providing strategic and technical expertise across Identity and Access Management. Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Workforce IAM solutions (Microsoft Entra ID, Entra External ID, Azure B2C, Okta/Auth0, Saviynt, CyberArk, Delinea) across enterprise environments; configuring SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC and least-privilege models; managing joiner/mover/leaver processes, provisioning/deprovisioning, access requests, and attestation; integrating with identity providers using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM; developing CIAM platforms and custom authentication journeys; delivering IAM strategy, assessments, and documentation; and mentoring junior consultants. Requires deep expertise in WIAM and CIAM, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes. Located in New Zealand with permanent residency/citizenship required for security clearance; remote working is available as part of Datacom’s flexible working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in Identity and Access Management
- Experience with Active Directory and hybrid identity
- PowerShell or automation scripting
- Azure Functions and API integrations
- DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches for IAM
- PAM and Zero Trust concepts
- Experience working within consulting or customer-facing delivery environments
- NZ citizenship or permanent residency due to security requirements
