Job Summary
Senior Hydrogeologist role at AECOM focused on advising on hydrogeology across UK and Ireland with potential growth into international projects. You will contribute to hydrogeological conceptualisation, deliver water resources and engineering hydrogeology projects, assist with bid development, collaborate with a team of consultants/graduate hydrogeologists, and foster innovations in data interaction with groundwater modellers. The position supports the groundwater team working with public and private sector clients across the UK, Ireland and the broader EMEA region, engaging in projects from groundwater resource assessment to dewatering and groundwater flooding, and contributing to sustainable water management strategies within major infrastructure schemes.
Required Qualifications
- BSc Hons degree in Geology, Geography or Environmental Science
- MSc in a practical environment-related subject
- Experience working in groundwater and the water environment industry
- Evidence of early career stages with a relevant professional body, with an aim of becoming member in the future
