Job Summary
Senior Hydrogeologist role at AECOM focused on advising on hydrogeology, conceptualising groundwater systems, and delivering water resources and engineering hydrogeology projects across the UK and Ireland with potential international expansion. Responsibilities include bid preparation, collaboration with a team of consultants and graduate hydrogeologists, developing innovations in data handling and groundwater modelling, and contributing to projects from groundwater source investigations to dewatering and water management for major infrastructure schemes. Requires a BSc Hons in Geology/Geography/Environmental Science, an MSc in a practical environmental subject, experience in groundwater and the water environment, and ongoing professional-body development; hybrid work option available within the UK.
Required Qualifications
- BSc Hons degree in Geology, Geography and/or Environmental Science
- Experience working in groundwater and the water environment industry
- MSc in a practical environment related subject
- Evidence of early career stages with a relevant professional body, with an aim of becoming member in the future
