Job Summary
Senior Hydrogeologist at AECOM advising on hydrogeology across the UK and Ireland, delivering water resources and engineering hydrogeology projects, developing new innovations around data, assisting bids, and collaborating with a team of consultants/graduate hydrogeologists. Role involves working with groundwater modellers, supporting large-scale infrastructure projects from concept through delivery, and participating in environmental statements and consents. Requires a BSc Hons in Geology/Geography/Environmental Science and an MSc, with experience in groundwater and the water environment; a professional body membership path is encouraged. Hybrid work options available in the UK, with in-person onboarding and a focus on sustainable water resources solutions across public and private sector clients.
Required Qualifications
- BSc Hons degree in Geology, Geography and/or Environmental Science
- MSc in a practical environment related subject
- Experience in groundwater and water environment industry
- Evidence of early career stages with a relevant professional body, with aim of becoming member in the future
- Ability to work across UK and Ireland initially, with potential for international projects
