Senior Hydraulics Design Engineer

Job Summary
Responsible for the design of hydraulics service in building services, supervising the Hydraulics Engineering team, and ensuring project designs meet prescribed standards. Manage project records, liaise with local authorities and other disciplines, and participate in meetings locally and overseas. Responsible for training junior staff, preparing high-level reports, and applying safety in design processes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulics Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Hydraulics Engineering
- Board Passer for Registered Hydraulics Engineer (PSSE) is a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge in Hydraulics drainage & vent system, Cold & Hot water system, stormwater drainage system
- Rainwater Recycle, Trade System and Gas System
- Experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
Desired Qualifications
- AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of WSP’s organizational capability and how to access it.
- Working knowledge of systems, procedures and practices.
- Working knowledge of organizational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.
- Experienced in applying QA and OH&S systems.
