Job Summary
The Senior Hydraulics Design Engineer is responsible for leading and supervising the Hydraulics Engineering team in the design and implementation of hydraulic systems for building services. This role includes ensuring compliance with standards, managing project outputs, coordinating with other disciplines, and training junior staff. A strong emphasis is placed on utilizing QA processes, technical reporting, and mentoring within the engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Hydraulics Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Hydraulics Engineer (PSSE)
- Knowledge of Hydraulics drainage & vent system
- Cold & Hot water system expertise
- Stormwater drainage system knowledge
- Experience with Rainwater Recycle and Gas Systems
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Understanding of organizational capability and access
- Familiarity with QA and OH&S systems
