Job Summary
Perform service and repair work on commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including boilers, air handling equipment, and chilled water systems. Conduct planned routine maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC components while maintaining a clean working environment. Prepare written documentation for invoice processing and manage inventory controls for cost-effective operations. Carry the company phone and participate in the on-call rotation for after-hour calls every 14th week. Maintain professional relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members while adhering to all safety procedures and compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Full understanding of HVAC systems, building automation systems, operation, and maintenance requirements
- HVAC Journeyman with 5+ years' post-apprenticeship experience in HVAC mechanical service
- EPA certified in refrigerant recovery
- Valid Driver's License
- Must consent to a background check if offered the position
- Ability to use a computer, tablet, and smartphone
- Ability to text and use email
- Be proficient with all standard tools of the job
- Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner
- This position requires the ability to stand, sit, squat, stoop and kneel
- Considerable walking, standing, bending, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing arms, wrist, hands, and fingers, turning torso and head
- Ability to maneuver and climb ladders
- Must be able to lift and move up to fifty pounds
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a clean driving record
