Job Summary
Install new HVAC systems, perform regular maintenance, and repair malfunctioning equipment while diagnosing issues and replacing defective parts. Test installations to ensure proper operation, consult with customers on heating and cooling solutions, and accurately document all work performed. Operate and maintain company tools and the work van, keeping all certifications current through required continuing education. Work primarily Monday through Friday with occasional evening or weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC experience
- Completion of HVAC technical training program
- Equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of testing equipment and techniques
- Ability to use various hand and power tools common to the trade
- Work primarily Monday – Friday during normal business hours
- Occasional evening or weekend work
