Job Summary
Perform requested maintenance, inspect, monitor, and evaluate the efficiency and safety of HVAC, refrigeration, and building automation systems to ensure trouble-free operation for residents. Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure, troubleshoot and repair designated refrigeration equipment and ice machines, and follow manufacturer recommendations for scheduled preventive maintenance. Read blueprints and isometrics, prepare sketches as required to document work, and maintain working knowledge of commercial electrical and plumbing systems. This role requires a minimum of five years of HVAC service experience, current EPA certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with compensation ranging from $29.00 to $30.00. You will work scheduled hours plus an on-call rotation as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service
- Working knowledge of commercial electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Current EPA certification to handle refrigerants
- Must be able to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and on-call overtime as necessary
