Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while performing preventative maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, package units, and exhaust equipment. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control systems by reading wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals, then complete service documentation and communicate repair recommendations to customers. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory while adhering to OSHA regulations and safety policies. Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior technicians as needed. Travel daily within the Baton Rouge service area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, airflow, controls, and gas heating systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background screening
