Job Summary
Lead a team of 3–5 HVAC design engineers while taking ownership of end-to-end HVAC design responsibilities across diverse building services projects. Review and validate designs, calculations, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. Prepare Design Basis Reports and technical deliverables for clients, architects, and consultants, incorporating feedback and obtaining necessary approvals. Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, conduct periodic site visits to resolve technical issues, and monitor progress against schedules. Support billing follow-ups and maintain proper documentation of critical decisions. Manage projects across design, drafting, execution, documentation, and commercial aspects while driving team productivity and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience
- Strong experience in HVAC Design and Engineering for building services projects
- Proven ability to independently manage HVAC design responsibilities across multiple projects
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers and draftsmen
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles, engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with clients, architects, and co-consultants
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to undertake periodic site visits and resolve technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and commercial awareness
