Job Summary
Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems and chiller units at customer sites across healthcare, manufacturing, education, and office sectors. Diagnose equipment failures using blueprints and engineering specs, coordinate on-site installations with project managers, and forecast issues to synchronize work. Perform end-to-end testing, download programming, and service assigned projects while maintaining the highest safety standards and securing company assets. Mentor team members and maintain flexibility for overtime, weeks, and occasional overnight stays as business requirements dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school
- At least 10 plus years of experience in commercial HVAC, including Chiller systems
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- EPA Certification (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer etc.)
- Ability to pass additional drug screening
