Senior Human Resources Operations Manager

Job Summary

Own core HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee transactions, and personnel record management. Establish and monitor service delivery standards, SLAs, and operational metrics while serving as the escalation point for complex matters. Administer leave of absence programs covering FMLA, ADA accommodations, and state-specific policies, ensuring accurate and compliant case handling. Lead the Global Contingent Workforce Program, setting standards, approving escalations, and driving cross-functional alignment on staffing and vendor arrangements. Map, standardize, and continuously improve HR processes, leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and employee experience. Maintain governance over HR policies, procedures, and SOPs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all operating jurisdictions. Manage the People team project portfolio, coordinating execution, tracking milestones, and preparing executive-ready dashboards for headcount, turnover, and service delivery analytics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Significant experience leading HR Operations or People Operations functions
  • Demonstrated HR Operations management experience
  • Demonstrated success leading HR operational excellence, governance, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and portfolio management skills
  • Experience developing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and governance documentation
  • Experience partnering with Legal, IT Security, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards, and other cross-functional business leaders
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits, compliance initiatives, and operational governance
  • Working knowledge of leave and accommodation law (FMLA, ADA, and state and local leave programs)
  • Experience overseeing leave administration
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfort leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline processes, enhance HR programs, and improve operational effectiveness
  • Reliable high-speed internet

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a fast-paced, high-growth organization
  • Experience with HR systems such as UKG, Lattice, or similar platforms
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
