Job Summary
Direct day-to-day performance and operations of employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, backgrounds, and credentialing functions within the Human Resources Department. Interpret company policy and objectives while developing plans to achieve strategic goals. Manage progressively responsible assignments based on demonstrated ability to handle increased independence. Maintain thorough understanding of Alaska Native and American Indian cultures and needs to support the organization's mission of community wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- four (4) years professional HR experience
- experience at Manager Level II
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)
- ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire
- thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area
