Job Summary
Provide professional-level Human Resources assistance, services, and guidance to designated departments and programs on a wide scope of issues including recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, benefits, training, and labor relations. Serve as a trusted partner to leaders by offering expertise on complex workplace matters while helping drive a positive employee experience across the organization. This role supports the Southcentral Foundation's mission to work with Alaska Native and American Indian communities to achieve wellness through health and related services.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field
- Four (4) years of professional human resources experience
- Professional human resources certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)
- ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire
- thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area
