Job Summary
Own onboarding, offboarding, and performance review cycles while leading employee relations investigations from intake to resolution. Partner with the CHRO to audit compliance posture for federal contracting requirements and develop gap-closure plans. Coach managers on performance improvement plans and development conversations to ensure consistent, defensible outcomes. Redesign core HR processes based on data and feedback, then present metrics readouts with actionable recommendations at quarterly all-hands meetings. Shape policy development and employee communications to drive adoption across the organization. This role supports the commercial product function at Veilant, helping define where the company goes next as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Direct experience with government contractor regulations
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Experience supporting employee relations investigations
- Experience with performance management
- Experience with manager coaching
- Proficiency with Paycom HRIS
- Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment law
- Knowledge of HR best practices
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Ability to partner closely with senior leadership
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Ability to occasionally move about inside the office
- Ability to constantly work with computers and other information technology equipment
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
