Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist role supporting HR operations and leadership by handling employee relations, performance management, onboarding, HR project leadership, training/mentorship of HR staff, HR metrics analysis, and retention initiatives. Collaborates with HR Manager to guide and coach employees and supervisors, facilitates investigations and resolution of concerns, leads onboarding and follow-up processes, and drives process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or senior generalist role
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills with ability to influence at multiple levels
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems
