Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist in a government contracting environment (Huntsville, AL). Supervises two HR Generalists; manages HRIS records and HR transactions (including onboarding and I-9 verification); handles leave processes (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, LOA, WC) and timekeeping discrepancies; supports onsite supervisors with performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and investigations; ensures regulatory and policy compliance (DOL, SCA, FLSA) and accuracy of job descriptions; maintains confidentiality of sensitive information; conducts New Hire and Associate Engagement Surveys and Exit interviews; collaborates with Service Support Team to ensure data integrity and process alignment. Requires a minimum five years of HR supervisory experience in a government contracting setting (or seven years of HR support with five in government contracting), experience with FLSA/DOL/FMLA/ADA/PWFA/LOA/WC, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in HRIS and timekeeping systems, and a degree or SHRM/HRCI certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of HR supervisory experience working for a government contractor (or seven years of HR support experience with five years in government contracting)
- Experience with FLSA, DOL, FMLA, ADA, PWFA, LOA, WC compliance
- Degree or certification in an HR-related discipline or SHRM/HRCI certification is a plus
