Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary
Provide HR business partnering and employee relations services for managers across multiple locations and business units within the APAC region. Coach and guide managers on talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, and succession planning while ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. Investigate and resolve employee disputes, mediate performance problems, and develop strategies to support the organization through change, acquisitions, and restructuring. Build strong relationships with regional shared service teams and interpret engagement survey feedback to drive action plans. Manage internal transfers, support foreign assignments, and deliver training to enhance employee morale and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in related discipline (Business Studies, HRM, Psychology or similar) or equivalent education and experience
- Proven track record of providing best practice HR Business Partner services in a busy HR department
- Strong Australia experience
- Demonstrates a strong background in employee relations and change management
- Planning and project management through to effective delivery
- Computer literate, in particular competent with Microsoft office
- Must be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Demonstrate willingness to maintain HR qualifications
- Experience of working across multi-site organisations and providing remote support
- Prior experience of supporting all levels of management
- Demonstrates background in supporting employee engagement initiatives
- Driving a culture of diversity and inclusion
- Prior experience of delivering employee training and coaching
- Guidance on talent management
- Ability to manage sensitive human resource matters

Desired Qualifications
- Full driving licence
- Experience of operating in multiple jurisdictions within APAC is highly desirable
- Comfortable with HRIS
- Experience of Workday a plus
- Prior experience of working within a technology or engineering business headquartered in the US
- Prior experience of setting up end to end HR services
- Undertaking due diligence or integration highly desirable
- Prior experience of supporting business units in the APAC highly desirable
- Previous experience of working with unions or internal joint consultative committees
- Prior experience of working within a job family and grading system desirable but not essential
