Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist responsible for executing HR programs with an operational focus, managing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation analysis, employee relations, and HRIS administration (BambooHR/SharePoint). Partners with executives and managers to advance HR strategy, compliance with BC/Canadian employment laws, and privacy requirements; coordinates campus recruitment events and engagement activities, supports policy development, and helps drive organizational development and culture initiatives. This role requires delivering confidentiality in handling employee information, guiding management on legislation, and providing strategic HR guidance to leadership within Fraser River Pile and Dredge / Bird across Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years HR experience in a similar role
- CHRP designation or in progress is an asset
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills
- Labour relations experience is considered an asset
- BC Employment Standards, Canadian Labour Code, Human Rights legislation, privacy laws knowledge
- HRIS experience (BambooHR)
- Recruitment and full-cycle talent acquisition
