Senior HSE Specialist (f/m/d)

Job Summary
Conduct daily operational management of HSE as a focal point, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and leading incident investigations to establish root causes and preventive actions. Develop and maintain internal HSE programs ensuring compliance with ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 standards while supporting the Blueprint of the plant and SCIP activities. Manage contractor inductions, lead CAE meetings for turnarounds, and substitute for the HSE Manager when unavailable, coordinating with production and project leaders. Participate in the on-call rotation team to support departmental, plant, and corporate objectives in achieving a zero incident culture.
Required Qualifications
- Chemist or Chemical Engineer
- Master's degree (or equivalent) with specialized HSE topics in postdoctoral practice
- Experience/knowledge of environmental and safety management systems (such as ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001)
- At least 7-10 years in the industry
- Writes, speaks and understands English and Spanish fluently
