Job Summary
Establish and implement job safety programs while supervising hazard identification and elimination across all facilities. Conduct safety audits, analyze accident records, and issue regular performance reports to monitor employee safety adherence. Represent the program in internal and external safety matters, prioritizing safety duties over non-safety functions within the scope of the job safety program. This role supports the Director Safety/Quality Assurance in maintaining compliance with Federal and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Health or Safety related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures
- strong written and oral communication skills
