Job Summary
Senior HR Specialist – Technical & Support Functions in Kotka, Finland, will partner with technical and support departments (Engineering, Technology, Quality, Laboratory and other business support) to manage day-to-day HR operations, drive employee relations, workforce planning, and development of scalable HR processes during ramp-up and production expansion. The role supports managers and employees across the lifecycle, coordinates payroll and benefits, assists with recruitment and onboarding, guides performance management and talent development, and ensures compliance with Finnish labor legislation and company policies while strengthening management capability in a fast-changing industrial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in industrial, manufacturing or international business environments
- Solid understanding of Finnish labor legislation and employee relations practices
- Experience supporting managers in employee relations, performance management and workplace matters
- Experience in organizational development, talent management or learning and development is considered an advantage
- Full professional proficiency in Finnish and English
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships across different functions and organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
