Job Summary
Lead complex classification reviews, organizational assessments, and program audits to identify position management needs and resolve difficult cross-functional classification issues. Brief executives, managers, and union officials on classification approaches, workforce structure, and succession planning while ensuring compliance with federal HR policies and OPM standards. Maintain subject matter files, prepare reports, and provide expert recommendations for advanced position management challenges. Requires 8+ years of federal HR experience, OPM knowledge, and security clearance. Join Rivet Operations Company's DoD partner team in Washington DC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in federal HR classification or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of OPM classification standards and HR policies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and automated position description libraries
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Applying Federal recruitment and placement laws, policies, regulations, and practices to solve placement issues and recruitment
- Collaborating with management officials to write and review position descriptions
- Providing advice to managers and personnel on assessing organizational HR needs regarding succession planning and strategic recruitment planning
- Providing advice to managers and personnel on the Federal hiring process
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain the required security clearance for the position
- Sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling
- Ability to walk moderate to long distance
- Lifting to 40 lbs
