Job Summary
Collaborate with clients to assess human resources needs, develop customized strategies, and implement or optimize HR information systems. Provide ongoing advisory services across policy development, employment law compliance, employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition. Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously by establishing project plans, coordinating deliverables, and analyzing HR data to support strategic decision-making. Advise leaders on complex workplace matters, including investigations and conflict resolution, while building trusted relationships with client teams. Stay current on employment laws and emerging best practices to identify compliance risks and provide practical recommendations. Partner with internal subject-matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across diverse industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Five to seven years of progressive human resources experience
- Broad knowledge of HR best practices, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, policy development, organizational development, and employment law compliance
- Experience advising leaders on complex or sensitive employee relations and workplace matters
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Experience implementing, configuring, or optimizing HR information systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex HR matters clearly and practically
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with client leaders, employees, and HR professionals
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and client teams
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of HR consulting, outsourced HR, professional services, or multi-client experience preferred
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification
- Experience supporting clients across multiple industries, organizational sizes, or geographic locations
- Experience with HR data analysis, metrics, dashboards, and workforce reporting
- Experience facilitating leadership training, employee development programs, or organizational change initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of current HR trends, emerging employment practices, and workplace compliance requirements
