Job Summary
Own and run local HR operations in Korea, managing the employee lifecycle, payroll compliance including social insurances and tax settlements, statutory labor law adherence, and vendor partnerships. Handle sensitive employee relations and immigration matters with strict confidentiality while partnering with business leaders on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Lead recruiting outcomes by managing hiring managers, agencies, and RPO partners, and coach leaders on performance management and people leadership. Drive employee engagement initiatives and build scalable HR processes to support organizational growth. Partner with HQ to implement global programs while providing local business insights, ensuring alignment with Factorial's global strategy and culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience
- Experience in a multinational, manufacturing, engineering, or high-growth environment
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and people decisions
- Proven ability to influence leaders, coach managers, and drive organizational effectiveness
- Experience leading recruiting strategy and managing multiple recruiting channels and external partners
- Strong knowledge of Korean labor law, HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance
- Native or bilingual Korean and fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse)
- Experience working in a multinational or publicly listed company
