Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist onsite at Escalon manufacturing site; lead HR processes, workforce planning, compensation command, organizational effectiveness, and change management to drive cultural transformation and meet goals related to people, cost, and customer service. Supports recruitment and development for a unionized facility with approximately 150 year-round employees and ~500 seasonal workers during harvest. Bilingual English/Spanish; focus on talent development, staffing partnerships, engagement, compliance with federal and state employment laws, and data-driven decision-making. Role emphasizes TPM alignment, KPI achievement, and labor relations for the facility, with hands-on, onsite presence Monday–Friday (and occasional Saturdays during harvest). Involves leveraging HR systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos) and analytics to inform strategic people initiatives and performance outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or equivalent in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or hospitality environments
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Strong business acumen, project management, and technical proficiency with workplace technology and systems (e.g., Workday, Kronos, MS Office)
- Ability to communicate with senior leadership and key customers using data and insights
- Excellent organization and time management in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to lead change and manage priorities
- Experience with unionized environments (labor relations) is a plus
- Availability to relocate in the future is a plus
