Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist provides advanced HR support across the employee lifecycle with emphasis on employee relations and recruitment. Leads full-cycle recruitment, supports onboarding/offboarding, ensures compliance with federal/state/local laws, maintains confidential HR records, administers benefits and leave, and partners with managers on investigations, performance management, and corrective action. Plays a key role in policy communication, training, HRIS/ATS administration, safety initiatives, and coordination with payroll and leadership to maintain accurate employment information and equitable HR practices. Strong emphasis on equity and inclusion, with experience in Native organizations or mission-driven contexts valued. Based in Seattle, WA; typical office environment with full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- 5–7 years of progressive human resources experience required, including employee relations, recruitment, and advising managers on HR practices.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or comparable HR certification preferred; SHRM-SCP a plus.
