Job Summary
Field employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, and coach managers on performance and disciplinary actions. Maintain and update the employee handbook, develop HR policies ensuring legal compliance across Tennessee and Nevada, and manage the shared HR inbox. Assess training needs, coordinate development programs, and support benefits administration for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. Partner with leadership to strengthen company culture through engagement activities and employee recognition. Requires 7+ years of HR experience, current certification, and proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive human resources experience
- demonstrated depth in employee relations
- demonstrated depth in professional development
- Solid command of federal and state employment law, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII
- multi-state experience (TN/NV)
- Working knowledge of HRIS data management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment, discretion, and an unwavering commitment to confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Current HR certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
