Job Summary

Senior HR Business Partner leads and coaches senior leadership and managers on HR processes, drives organizational and leadership development programs, partners on workforce planning, talent management, and change initiatives, and executes HR projects globally. The role emphasizes applying the Novo Nordisk Way values, supporting employee engagement, performance management, job description processes, and onboarding/orientation, with a focus on delivering sustainable HR solutions across a manufacturing context. Responsible for facilitating training, diversity initiatives, and cross-boundary collaboration to enable business success and long-term health outcomes. Located in Clayton, NC with in-person work arrangement; travel up to 10%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university required
  • May consider an Associate’s degree in human resources or related field from an accredited university with nine (9) years of relevant HR generalist experience required
  • May consider a High School Degree or equivalent with eleven (11) years of relevant HR generalist experience required
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant HR generalist experience required, preferably in a multi-shift manufacturing organization
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of relevant employment law, personnel policies & procedures best practices required
  • HR IT Systems knowledge & experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) required, with experience in impact & influence communication preferred
  • Analytical skills required
  • Lean Manufacturing applications in the workplace preferred
  • Change management experience preferred
  • Organizational development programs execution, including performance appraisal, individual development planning, staffing/workforce planning, problem resolution, future planning & organizational development, employee opinion survey response, etc. Preferred
  • Proven expertise in organizing information & people from across the organization to develop & implement policies & programs to promote positive employee relations & to support core processes to meet or exceed company business goals required
