Job Summary

Senior HR Business Partner for Cytiva Japan responsible for shaping and delivering people priorities, partnering with business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness. Lead labor relations in Japan, including union engagement, and proactively manage people-related risk within a complex, matrixed organization. Ensure a consistent, fair, and engaging associate experience across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, engagement, and development. Leverage the Danaher Business System to continuously improve processes and leadership capability. Coach and support people leaders in Japan, fostering inclusive, compliant, and values-based management practices. Serve as an ambassador for Cytiva values and culture, ensuring governance and compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Travel domestically within Japan and occasionally regionally. Travel experience in life sciences or healthcare contexts is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Long-standing experience as HR generalist or HR business partner in a matrixed, multinational organization
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders on complex people and organizational topics
  • Strong working knowledge of Japanese labor law, employment practices, and employee relations
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
