Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housepersons, lobby attendants, and laundry attendants. Inspect guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel and brand standards. Assign daily work schedules, monitor productivity, and train team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations. Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, report shortages, and respond promptly to guest requests. Ensure compliance with brand standards, OSHA, and safety policies while coordinating with Front Office and Maintenance departments. Maintain accurate records of inspections, room status updates, and maintenance issues. Assist with onboarding and performance evaluations, promote a positive work environment, and comply with attendance rules for regular basis availability.
Required Qualifications

- Assign daily work schedules and monitor productivity to ensure timely completion of assigned duties.
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special needs.
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards, OSHA, and hotel safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with onboarding and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments regarding room status, repairs, and guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, room status updates, lost and found items, and maintenance issues.
- Understand and continue to self-educate on the brand and management company systems, using them to the best ability to ensure comfort in the role and growth for the hotel, team and individual.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
