Job Summary
Senior Housekeeper to lead the day-to-day housekeeping operation across holiday homes and facilities, supervise a team of housekeepers, ensure 5-star cleanliness standards, and act as a checker to review cleans and address quality concerns. Responsibilities include managing stock levels and linen inventory, delivering linen and equipment for changeover days, coordinating with Sales and Sublet teams, working with maintenance and hot tub teams to ensure guest-ready properties, monitoring customer satisfaction and handling issues promptly, and maintaining Health & Safety, COSHH, and stock-control documentation. Supports the Housekeeping Manager with planning, team development, and maintaining key performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising or leading a housekeeping team
- Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and attention to detail
- Ability to coach, develop and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills and confidence managing performance
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
- A proactive, can-do attitude and pride in delivering excellent standards
- Understanding of administration and stock control within a housekeeping department (desirable)
- Experience working towards guest review KPIs like TripAdvisor or Revoo (desirable)
