Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor responsibilities include coaching and mentoring branch teams, meeting with customers and introducing them to bankers for additional products, collaborating on marketing and cross-sell efforts, promoting mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, serving as the internal/external mortgage expert, and applying financial analysis and product knowledge to provide tailored recommendations while ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong emphasis on relationship building, communication, real estate market knowledge, and familiarity with FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- NMLS registration (SAFE Act) and compliance requirements
