Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor at Chase Home Lending in Williamsburg VA provides consultative guidance on mortgage products, coaches branch teams, meets with customers, partners with bankers to promote mortgage loan originations, and supports marketing efforts to grow home lending business. The role requires knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and NMLS registration in accordance with SAFE Act; 3+ years of mortgage lending and sales experience in retail banking is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act (required upon employment)
- Compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators
- Familiarity with mortgage product guidelines and regulatory requirements
