Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor responsible for guiding clients through the home loan process and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the loan life cycle. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring branch teams on products and services, meeting with customers alongside bankers to introduce them to additional banking solutions, collaborating on marketing and cross-sell initiatives, promoting mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, and acting as the internal/external mortgage expert. Requires consultative financial analysis, strong relationship building, and deep knowledge of FHA/VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines, with emphasis on delivering an outstanding customer experience and ensuring regulatory compliance. Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of mortgage lending and sales in retail banking, and NMLS registration/SAFE Act compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act
