Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor collaborates with bankers to guide clients through the mortgage process, promotes loan originations, coaches branch teams on products/services, and provides consultative financial guidance based on customers’ needs and goals. Requires knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, regulatory compliance (Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank), NMLS registration, and strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales/real estate and 3+ years of mortgage lending experience in retail banking are required. Also involves leveraging marketing and cross-sell efforts to grow mortgage business and delivering excellent customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
