Job Summary
Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services. Collaborate with bankers to meet customers, introduce new clients, and utilize direct mail, media advertisements, and outbound lead sourcing to create an outstanding customer experience. Develop strong partnerships with retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories while building a role as an internal and external mortgage expert. Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and customer needs. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration and compliance with Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- FHA/VA sales experience
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
