Job Summary
Coach and mentor the branch team on products and services while collaborating with bankers to introduce new clients to additional offerings. Build strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations and function within formal reporting relationships. Utilize centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, and electronic newsletters to create an outstanding customer experience. Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise regarding customer financial needs, goals, and circumstances. Maintain good relationships with customers by acting as an internal and external mortgage expert while adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
- FHA/VA sales experience
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
