Job Summary
Senior Home Lending Advisor responsibilities include coaching and mentoring branch teams on mortgage products, meeting with customers to originate loans, collaborating with bankers to cross-sell products, and promoting an outstanding customer experience through coordinated marketing and referral efforts. The role requires deep knowledge of mortgage lending, ability to provide consultative financial recommendations based on customers’ needs, and familiarity with FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC guidelines. Strong communication, relationship-building, and market knowledge are essential to drive mortgage originations within assigned footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
- Knowledge of real estate market in local area
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Additional Requirements
- Requires background check including criminal history review per FDIC/SAFE Act
- NMLS registration required upon employment and ongoing renewal
